Daily meteorological data from automatic weather station Arctowski, King George Island, during 2012

The presented dataset contains meteorological data from the Arctowski automatic weather station, which is located at sea level on the western shore of Admiralty Bay (King George Island, West Antarctica), from 2012.01.01 to 2012.12.31. The dataset contains the daily mean, maximum and minimum values of the following: air temperature [°C], relative air humidity [%], air saturation deficit [hPa], air pressure [hPa], wind speed [m/s] and daily sum of solar radiation [MJ/m2]. From 2012.01.19 to 2012.12.31, meteorological measurements were conducted by an automatic Vantage Pro+ weather station manufactured by Davis; all sensors were mounted 2 m above ground level. Data for the period 2012.01.01 – 2012.01.18 (air temperature and humidity, air pressure) were recorded by another automatic weather station operating in the same spot simultaneously. Data were recorded in the local time zone (UTC-3). During 2012-01-19 to 2012-12-31, meteorological measurements were recorded hourly, and during 2012-01-01 to 2012-01-18, they were recorded every three hours. There were no data deficits.
